Armenians and Georgians has their own languages but most of them use well also Russian what is very helpful for Polish tourists 🙂 We have never learned that language of soviet empire but we learnt some few rules and words quicker that we could imagine 🙂 So YES it’s very useful to spend some time for learning basic things even on your way to one of this countries! Your time over there will be much more easy and nice. Moreover most of the local people will be more open from the ‘first sight’ 😉 If you will add to this knowledge just a few words of their mother tongue they will love you for sure 🙂 We think that is similar to polish people who appreciate a lot when foreigners in Poland are trying to say Good Morning, Thank you, Please, Cheers or Good bye:) We used that tactic in both countries and it was definitely very successful one!!
