It is a town in Nagorny-Karabakh that have been bombed in July 1993 during the war between Azerbaijan and Armenia. Local people are suprise when tourists ask about that place. Seems like they don’t want to or they are just ashamed of showing that place to the world. However it’s possible to go there by taxi but because of our low budget flow we tried to hitchhike there and we did it! That Ghost town is fully empty because of the war. After Azers went out Armenians destroyed it totally and took everything what was valuable..even bricks. It’s very hard to see here anyone else beside few farmers who work with fields between remains and military base and soliders. We don’t know if our feelings was caused by cloudly wheather or informations that we have read but we felt disquiet, sadness and the real war in the air…We felt that we were walking on the big kind of history grave what brought us some time of wistfulness. It was for us very new experience and the place was so unusual. We didn’t experience anything dengerous or unpleasant from what we have been warned by locals.
